We inspect & sharpen
We record your order and agree on any extra work before sharpening. Each knife stays identified throughout.
Back to your kitchen
Receive your knives with protected edges. Accepted standard orders return within 24 hours of collection. Your handoff time is confirmed at pickup.

Pickup handoff
Available times appear in the calendar’s selected time zone. Allow 15 minutes for your handoff; travel time is reserved between stops.
Before collection
Clean and dry your knives; cover each edge with a guard or secure protective wrapping. Hand them directly to the operator.
Payment
Invoices and receipts are issued by Deztraction LLC.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Before we collect.
Do I pay to book the pickup?
No payment is taken when you reserve collection. Kyle confirms your service quote after inspection and before sharpening. Payment is collected separately through your invoice.
I only have two or three knives. What should I choose?
A private pickup still has a $75 minimum. For a smaller order, ask Kyle about a shared apartment stop; these use per-item pricing once the stop is arranged.
Which knives can I include?
Standard straight-edge kitchen knives are the core service. Specialty blades and repairs need inspection and a quote. Ceramic knives, single-bevel blades, scissors and tools are not included in the standard price list.
Can our apartment building host a stop?
Yes—request a shared sharpening day. We agree the date, order minimum and suitable collection or work location with building management before confirming it.
When do I get my knives back?
Accepted standard orders return within 24 hours of collection. Repairs and specialty work may need a separately agreed turnaround before we accept the order.
Is tax included?
The displayed prices exclude applicable sales tax. Your final quote or invoice shows tax and any approved additional charges.
